The oven is ready to fire pots

A delegation of the women group in Soulou is posing in front of their new kiln to throw pots. The pottery that gets it shape in their hands, will be baked in this advanced wood saving oven. Jars, gutters, flower pots and even money pots will provide an extra income for the women.

2007/Week 1
Salif is farmer, and one of the leaders of the Naam groups of Koumbri. He calls the tune in the 2007 campaign of the Belgian NGO Broederlijk Delen. For the occasion, we will be the local correspondents answering questions of the Belgian young. This week, we visited him for a first time. He was surprised to be already Big in Belgium thanks to the campaigning magazine. (And this is only the beginning...)
