Welcomeburkinabe.be: our site about Burkina Faso
Goodbye BurkinaThat's it. We finished our stay in Burkina, shook the dust off our suitcases, and took a deep breath. Since April 2008 Heleen is working for the farmer organisation UNAG in the Northern mountains of Nicaragua. Wim has continued working in Burkina Faso until the end of June, and left, this time as freelance journalist first in Central-America, afterwards in West-Africa. Now he is working for Broederlijk Delen in Belgium. ![]() Hence Heleen changed dusty plains for green mountains and we're now eating rice and red beans instead of tô with baobab sauce. Wim is still eating Burkinese dishes but in a Belgian way. Time as well to replace burkinabe.be. Don't worry, we won't shut down this web site. Only, its little sisters are anxious to get known to the world. So from now on, head for Heleen's new site www.nicavida.be to follow her latino adventures. To keep track of Wim, consult his new blog www.sayouba.be!
